City of London Girls School 11 Plus School Admissions

(from school website)

We welcome approximately 100 pupils into year 7 each year to join our current year 6 pupils in the senior school. Pupils will be in year 6 when they are assessed. There is a two-stage entrance process for entering the school, comprising an assessment and interview.

For September 2022 entry pupils should have a date of birth that falls between 1 September 2010 and 31 August 2011.

Registration for 2022 entry is now open. Please click here to register.

Our commitment to attracting the brightest, most curious and enthusiastic pupils from across the Greater London area has remained our guiding principle when designing our new procedures. We are confident that the changes we have made will allow all pupils to demonstrate their ability and potential.

We are equally committed to ensuring that no pupil is disadvantaged by the period of lockdown. We will therefore be asking both parents and schools to provide more information about the level of education received during this period. This information will be taken into consideration when deciding who to invite for interview.

The process can seem daunting at first, but we aim to make it as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We will keep you regularly updated with where we are in the process, what happens next and how your child is getting on. We hope you will find all necessary information here, but please do email our admissions team if you have any questions at all.

We are able to waive the registration fee for families in receipt of social benefits. Please do email our admissions team with any relevant documentation and a member of our admissions team will be able to advise you further.
