For entry in September 2022, children should be in Year 6 at the time of the entrance exam scheduled to take place on Tuesday 11 January 2022 at Latymer Upper School, Hammersmith.
All pupils registered prior to the deadline (please see timetable below) will be invited to take the exam which covers English and Mathematics.
Latymer Upper School sets its own papers in English and Mathematics; sample papers are available via the button below, these are indicative of the style of questions and we do not provide answers or a mark scheme. There is one Maths paper (60 minutes) and two papers for English – comprehension/multiple choice (35 minutes) and creative writing (45 minutes) with a 20 minute break after the Maths paper. If your child is eligible for learning support adjustments, you will be required to submit supporting documents after registration. Candidates who do well in the exam will be invited back to the School for an interview so that we can get to know them better and assess whether Latymer is the right school for them.
